Analysis of the twenty-first century skills

   The twenty-first century will be largely dominated by digital economy and for student to move in line with these changes the will need digital age proficiencies. This calls for the education system to make parallel changes in order to full fill the mission of preparing students for the world beyond the classroom. It is in this light that a comparative study is being carried out between the American vision and what is being done by the Cameroonian educational system as of now as well as suggestions for the educational system to embrace and improve the 21^st century skills within the context of academic standards in Cameroon.

Information literacy provides for accessing information efficiently and effectively, evaluating information critically and completely. Due to globalisation the American system Provides for knowing  other cultures through interactions partner- ships and competition  from around  the world including cultural formations established as norms in a technological society.	The educational system is only concerned with Students going to school, little emphasis is given to see that all students fully develop the capacities  given by the American authorities.  Access to the internet is still very low and there is no incorporation of image Neither graphics nor videos in what is being thought.  Perception is still very Abstract. Information is  Is received and treated in An inefficient manner due the absence of technique facilitating the proper interpretation. Cameroon being part of The global village is fell by a minority of the Educational sector. Few Institutions are part of this New technology hence the Impact of knowing other cultures are not really felt.	It will be important for the government to lay Emphasis in seeing that all Students no matter where They may find themselves Be able to benefit education to the fullest possible way in all domains.   There Educational system Will make remarkable Progress if the different schools could have access to the internet and the incorporation of videos, graphics, images in what is being though so that the students will easily  perceive what is being  thought and reality. These majors will equally allow information to be access easily and treated efficiently thus encouraging creativity. It will be profitable if all the institutions nation Wide could be connected To the global village to enable the students of the rural areas to be able to interact with other Cultures. As of now only The Students in the urban Centres are able to interact with other cultures.
2).Inventive Thinking-      Intellectual Capital Adaptability/managing Complexity and self-               Direction Curiosity, creativity And Risking High Order Thinking And Sound Reasoning.	Interconnection of the World brings Complexity. Globalisation and the web are accelerating The peace of change in today’s world. The American system of educations makes provision for individual to be able to identify and react to changing conditions in- dependently. In this system the Knowledge workers are Expected to adapt to Changing environment. This call for curiosity About the world and how it works. We Notice that learning Organises and re- Organises the brain. Curiosity contributes to The quality of life and Intellectual capital of a country. Risk taking is  important which brings News discoveries, Inventions and leaning. Here the system expect High order thinking and Sound thinking from students using Technological tools.	In Cameroon some schools In the urban centres are Connected to the internet Which is the main motto of globalisation but the educational system does make provision for individuals to be able to identify and react to changing conditions in- dependently.  In this system less people Have knowledge of the World and the changes that Are taking place due to the Low progress in technology As such curiosity is not really fell. Creativity and risk taking is Virtually not existing due to Lack of technological Facilities and support. The Cameroonian system Of education offers little Opportunities for high Thinking and sound Reasoning due to the Absence of technological Tools which are facilitators.	It will be for the interest of the whole nation if more schools be them in the rural or urban centres were connected to the internet as such the profit of globalisation could be fell by all no matter where you can be. At such students will be able to identify ,assess and react to changing conditions independently. If the entire nation where to embrace the new trend of technological advances then it will enable people to be curious, creative and encouraged in risk taking. Technology improvement In the education sector will Bring a lot of advances As to improve on the Thinking and reasoning Skills in the students.

Information Technology plays a key Role in  the ease with which individuals and Groups collaborate via Emails,faxes,voice mail Audio and video Conferences provide a Timely and iterative Collaboration. These are the ethics and Dilemmas of the evolving technology. It will be Important for students to grasp this responsibility and contribute as informed Citizens at all levels. In the wired world, it is Important for students to Understand communication using technology. Due to the low level of Technological progress Communication and net- Works are still used only By few structures, so the Decision makers do not Considers the client. Ethics in the technological world provides for the students to get use to information that is useful and calls for their honesty in all they carry out. This will be the driving Force to enter fully the Numerical age especially In the educational domain.
